‘Our style is chic and tailored but also earthy and casual,’ says John Legend of the 1960s mid-century modern house he shares with his wife Chrissy Teigen. When the couple made the move from New York to Los Angeles they fell in love with the Hollywood Hills property and enlisted interior designer Don Stewart to help them make the home their own. The house was completely gutted to create loft-like open plan living spaces that flow seamlessly to the outdoor areas and different textures such as sea grass and basalt were introduced to make the interiors feel warm and earthy.
